Norwalk Hospital is the only hospital in Connecticut and one of 20 sites in the United States to be selected to participate in an FDA-approved national clinical trial on the FLEXUS ™ Inter-Spinous Spacer for the treatment of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS).  This is a condition whereby the spinal canal becomes narrowed and compresses the nerves, which can result in symptoms including low back pain or pain and/or numbness in the legs.
